Modern Consulting Inc. was founded in 2011, when Tim Waltrip acquired three Kansas insurance offices and started with a team of just nine — one manager, one salesperson, and one service representative at each location. Fifteen years later, we've grown to 40+ employees, three thriving Kansas offices, and more than 15,000 clients across Kansas and Missouri.

Our leadership team brings over 125 years of combined experience. Today's roster includes a General Manager, Directors of Sales, Service, and Systems, a Technology Specialist, two dedicated trainers, 15+ sales professionals, and 10+ customer service representatives. Three in-house Personal Financial Representatives handle protection and accumulation needs, and an in-house Commercial Specialist with 30+ years of experience handles small business and commercial accounts.
